Founding Background
Founded in 2005 by curator Sean C. S. Hu, Hu’s Art Co., Ltd. specializes in the research, execution, and promotion of projects spanning contemporary art curation, urban aesthetics, public art, and cross-disciplinary collaborations between brands and cultures.
In its approach to art exhibition research and curation, Hu’s Art meticulously tracks societal and cultural developments in Taiwan and across the globe. By integrating specific themes with art and aesthetics, the exhibitions curated by Hu’s Art offer diverse perspectives and invite visitors to explore the multifaceted nature and potential of art.
When it comes to urban aesthetics and public art projects, Hu’s Art harnesses the dynamic creativity of contemporary art to explore hidden corners and heterotopias within urban landscapes through temporary and permanent installations. ABOUT THE C.E.O
Sean Hu
Born in Taiwan, Sean C.S. Hu graduated from the Broadcasting & Television Section of the Mass Communication Department at Fu Jen Catholic University. He later earned an M.A. in Art Administration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York, in 1998.
Hu has held various influential roles, including art curator for the Fubon Art Foundation, Director General of the Association of Visual Arts in Taiwan, Director of the Taiwan Contemporary Art Archive, and adjunct lecturer at the National Taiwan University of Arts.
Currently, Hu serves as the CEO of Hu’s Art Company and is the founder of Doubles Square Gallery. He also holds the position of honorary board member for the Jut Foundation for Arts & Architecture and serves as an advisor to the Association of Visual Arts in Taiwan. Additionally, he is a policy consultant for the Taipei City Government and co-founder of VT Artsalon.

Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2 Public Art Installation “Light Wall” – Awarded the “Art Creation Award” at the 8th Public Art Awards by the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan.
