Introduction
A human life’s first heartbeat begins from within the mother’s womb; just like all creatures in nature originates from the earth; the land is our mother. The search for the cultural root must begin with memories of the mother and return to the land. Therefore, for the ones in the cultural industry attempting to integrate innovative elements, it is important to break free from literal implications and simple superficial value. Return to the mother and the land, and return to the origin of how the culture initially took shape. It must be distinctive and unique, and it must embody the narrative quality of a touching story and substantial contextual reflection. Taiwan is known to be one of the most liberal and compassionate Chinese societies; it is comprised of diverse cultures and a nurturing historical foundation, and these aspects have come to shape its boundlessly productive creative cultural industry today.
