Introduction

We hold the mutual memory of a piece of rice paddy situated in the city jungle. Three years later, before the land was about to be developed, Japanese artist, Susumu Shingu, brought three wind-kinetic sculptural pieces to the same location, for the artworks to move and breathe with the wind and the rice grains. As seasons come and go and time slips away, nature’s rice grains are awarded back to the land.
