Introduction:

In Yu’s life, bamboo and feather, lightness and heaviness, rooted and soaring, are not completely opposite, but rather are mutually blended, debated, and supplemented. Yu’s practice is the negotiation of these dialectics. From ink paintings on paper to large installations, he focuses on the materials of bamboo and feathers, exploring their clashes and synergies.
