Introduction:
Books have recorded the changes in history, stories of the era, and imagination toward the unknown.
Reading is the entrance of time travel, allowing us to peep into the past, the present and the future.
We obtain and pass on knowledge via books; we also know others and ourselves through books. “Reading and time travel” symbolizes the imagination derived from knowledge. With the texture of paper that recalls our childhood, the artist creates pleasant and heartwarming sculptures, turning the space into a world of fantasy. The transparent books on the glass separate indoor and outdoor spaces, evoking the imagination of past and now. With the two species looking at each other through the glass, the viewers seem to experience a leap through time.
